This policy explains what personal data we process when you use printhq.eu, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR.
HCOM Capital SRL, Bucharest, Romania, email contact@printhq.eu, is the controller for the processing described here.
Account data: name, email address and password hash when you create an account (including sign-in via Google, from which we receive your name, email and profile picture).
Order data: contact details, delivery address, company details you provide, ordered items, payment method and order history.
Print files: the artwork you upload, stored so we can produce your order.
Technical data: IP address, browser information and usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).
We process your data to conclude and perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): processing orders, payments, production, delivery, transactional emails and customer support.
We process technical and usage data based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating, securing and improving the site, and analytics data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) given via the cookie banner.
We retain accounting records where the law obliges us to (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We use carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf: Hetzner (hosting, EU), Cloudflare (content delivery and file storage), Stripe (card payments — your card data goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers), Resend (transactional email), Google (sign-in with Google, where you use it), Microsoft Clarity (analytics, consent-based) and postal/courier companies for delivery.
Where providers process data outside the EU/EEA, transfers are safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
We use strictly necessary cookies for the shop to function (session, cart, sign-in) and, only with your consent, analytics cookies (Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings.
Order and invoice data is kept for the statutory retention periods (up to 10 years for accounting records). Print files are kept while your order may need reprinting and are deleted afterwards on request. Account data is kept until you delete your account.
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw any consent at any time with future effect. Contact contact@printhq.eu to exercise your rights.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Romania, the ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or the authority of your country of residence.
